داستان آبیدیک

بهیمه قاضی

english

1 Law:: : the judge’s donkey - This was anciently said or proposed in lieu of the doctrine of the independence of a judge. In olden times judges traveled on donkeys and fastened their donkeys to a post nearest to their place of work and went out to their workplace to hear litigations. Now if someone, in the meanwhile, intentionally injured the judge’s donkey in the absence of the judge (eg as an act of personal revenge on him) he would be subject to pay damages over and above the rates normal for same injury on the donkeys of lay people. Shi’ism disagrees.
